As you may know, we`re in charge of a four & a half month old grandson for a week. All is going swimmingly, but he`s constantly watching the world go by.
Frost is a little of both. We've had a week of lows in the low 20s, so everything in the garden is kaput, except the oregano, which I was just reminded to go out and cover for the night, when reading your comment.
Frost means time which used to be spent gardening can now be used for something else. I just harvested the last carrots today.
What bison burger I've got is safely froze solid in my refigerator.
Falling water stopped in flight, then slowly flutters to alight. In doing so, it paints our place, our planet, seen in white, from space Slowly changes in seasons slow To browns then greens and flowered glow This strange liquid, a natural show, Is jeweled starlight we call snow

Fantastic photo. And gorgeous deep pool of blue -- I think I'm going to fall into it.
That's certainly quite a perspective. Adds a whole 'nother dimension "to seeing the world through the eyes of a child."
Now I've got to go look at the behind the post stuff.
Frost predicted here for 3 AM to 9AM.
Well, it's a few days later and I still love looking at his beautiful eye.
AndiF,
You probably would if you saw that pool in person.
NDD,
Yes it is.
Is the frost a good or bad thing.
I was reading about the forty tons(?) of rotting buffalo meat up there.
Ms NDD,We had him here for a week while the mom & dad were on a business trip.
He`s quite the smart cookie.
