FALL FIRES
On the first day of fall, it seems to stand to reason we`d have a fire.
The "smoke screen" helping to color this sunset, is from a fire a little to the north.
It`s nothing that threatens me, but if the Santa Anna winds kick in, it could be bad for many.
I obviously have been away for a little while dealing with my inner monsters.
I`ve done it before & will soon choose the correct time to slay them.
Thank you for your patience.

I hope things get better soon. And that all the fires, physical and virtual are safely put out.
I couldn't say it any better than AndiF.
I missed you, KH! Take care.

Pity that it something so destructive can make a sunset so pretty.
Sending good vibes your way, 'Head. Glad you're back, whenever and however.
Hey KH,
Glad we spoke recently and happy to see this posting.
Any time is a good time to slay monsters.
Earlier rather than later is probably also good.
Keep well.
Landsailor
AndiF,
I was out on the deck a few minutes ago & the smoke line is persistent.
I don`t really watch the news, though Teri does, & it seems we`re just out of reach of the jaws of the Santa Anna`s.
Those winds are really dangerous, when fires are ongoing.
When they do blow, the pyromaniacs rear their ugly heads, & light the fires.
Evangeline,
AndiF does have a way to tell it like it is.
I`m handling it as best I can & have the forward-looking optimism of having Finn (the new grandson, who will be living with us for a week, starting Friday)as a special motivator, to slay the monster.
Beth,
I almost sent you a special image, since I know you like sunsets, but I like to send you "natural" ones, not beauties altered by the hand of man.
Hey Landsailor,
Those are very nice words of encouragement, not to mention, spot on.
I was discussing the situation with a guest who was here when we last talked.
It was difficult to decide who to let go, when you called, although manners play a large part of my new self.
Always remember that there is a "man" in manners.
Elvis said that.

Olivia,
Thank you very much.
