ADAM`S APPLE

DSCN0090
I wish I`d had more time to shoot this squirming beauty, but I convinced the owner of it`s mild manners & hopefully I`ll get another longer opportunity.
Have a great day.

Ooh, cool. I love the eye in DSCN0090. I hope when you get some more you can do a close-up of the face so we can see the eye in more detail.

We don't have any snakes that have such nice coloring around here, though I do love the color of the blue racer. Unfortunately they always live up to their name and I've never been able to get a picture of one.

What a gorgeous snake! I got a tiny "love offering" from the gray beast I'm trying to tame out back, a lovely little garter snake no doubt moving slow from the cold. Haven't told the neighbors, they'd be out with shovels, hoe, and sack to clear out any others around here.

AndiF,
I just reminded the youngster today that I wanted to take more shots of his pet.
It`s hard to tell in these rushed photos but there is quite a bit of iridescence in his colors or in the highlights.

Olivia,
Yes it is & very gentle also.
It is very well kept.

Hi Kidspeak.
It`s great to hear from you.
I think of you often hoping you are well.
It`s ugly to know that some people think of killing as soon as they see a snake or an "other" .
The "grey beast" will eventually come around to your friendship. I`m positive.
Unless the neighborhood killers have plans for it also.
As soon as the beast realizes your safe harbor, you`ll be friends. As kids, we took in feral cats & they became family & stayed for years.
My huge dog Prince, would usually bark to come in, but often he just wanted the door opened for the cat.
He`d bark, I`d open the door, the cat would enter, & he`d stay outside.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our society, and I am fairly certain that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further advances, the possibility of transferring our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.
