This is of two shots taken one above the other last night & merged with my secret formula.

Bullets & Beauty

This sculpture mounted on a limestone plaque makes a convenient mount for the bandolier of bullets, for the contrast it creates.
Similar to guns & roses.

The two were never juxtaposed like this till recently.
I was showing the bandolier to a friend, & just hung it there for convenience at the time, but I`ve grown to like the theme it evokes. (At least for me)

Tiffany

Friends are fragile & precious too
Their smiles or tears are just for you
Keeping them, demands real class
They are as precious as Tiffany glass

Chester, Go Home!

This is Chester, our street, pig.

He`s been here for 15 years, & belongs to an old friend of mine.

Lately, Chester has been getting out more often.

In this image, I`m getting him to skedaddle back home.

Just the other day, two police cruisers turned down my street just ahead of me.

They slowed down & one made a u-turn & parked while the second one pulled over & parked on the right, opposite each other.

I stopped between them & asked them if they were looking for a pig.

They were quite surprised, since indeed they had gotten a report of a black boar wandering down the street.

I schooled them on the who, what, where & when of Chester & we all had a laugh.

BEGINNING & END

This is the first time I ever was able to take the sunrise from my deck & later the same day,

shoot the sunset, from the same spot.
