A gathering of friends at the send-off for my friend Dusty.
A crowd of possibly 1000 people gathered for laughs & eulogies.
I met people I hadn`t seen in years.
It was definitely a great meet-up, though a sad send off.
Dusty would have been proud of the crowd.

I live right up on the bluffs to the left.
I included a few more shots if you click on this one. The sunset overlooks the beach where we had the gathering. I took it the night of the ceremony, from my deck, as most of you will know.
Wonderful photo of the flowers, with their reverse echo of the umbrellas but for the occasion I preferred the sunset shot DSCN9368 with its perfect reading of Dylan Thomas' Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night.
A wonderful celebration for your friend, Head. I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing the beauty of the day with us. You know what a sucker I am for sunsets...
Thanks for posting the photos, Head. I'm glad you had such a beautiful day for the gathering and memorial.
A crowd approaching 1000 is quite a send off. He must have been a great guy.
