NANDAY CONURE

 NANDAY 1 DSC1990
This is a wild parrot from the flocks that follow the maturing fruit on local trees.
Beyond this image, besides the usual variety, is an update on the Bird of Paradise bloom that sped up it`s developement, more rapidly than I could record it.
There`s also a smiling pot to cheer some people up when I think they need it. You know who you are.
Have a nice day tomorrow, & make sure you get plenty of rest.

What a beautiful bird. How wonderful to live in an area that has wild parrots. Amazing. The colours of the photo - the background esp - are really soothing.

LOL, that is one happy pot ... :)

Olivia,
As you can see, this one is a little wary.
This is shot against a white sky, which left the parrot backlit. It was a little dark so I lightened it up a little & put a gradient layer of soft yellow over it from the bottom to the top.
I did a few of the others from that shoot with the gradients diagonal.

The pot seems to be pot happy for some reason.

Yeah, you'd think he'd be happier w/ some brains (roots) and hair (leaves) ... :)

I like the subtle colour you selected for the bkgrd.

Morning O and Head.

The bird is quite fine but my eyes really popped open at the bright blue fish with the iridescent yellow tail fin (DSC0028).

Andif,
I`ll post some much better shots of the 'Queen'.
That one is a Powder Blue Tang.
She was designated the one to get my attention when the tank inhabitants want food. She comes to the front & does a dance that`s sure to be noticed.
