PAPERBARK
A Paper Bark tree.
I was out listening to the natural music but now just identified another back-up singer to the usual band members. I can hear a California Sea Lion barking down on the beach.
I don`t think they like snow.
Tomorrow, more beach images so you won`t forget winter is a short time. A lovely one from what I remember of it.

Those glow like the sycamores do here. I'm always trying to capture that glow but I never seem to quite get it.
Hiya Head.
The Paperbark is almost scary. In the smaller version I can almost see faces.
FM, you're right--there are faces there. And they're staring at YOU. (Snickers and runs away.)
I have always loved white-barked trees.
Andif,
I have a huge sycamore in the yard here.
I`ll try & get it glowing.
I shouldn`t have desaturated the tree. I wanted to accentuate the blue. Isolating the green would have been next to impossible.
FM,
I remember puzzles that you had to find all the faces in the woods.
Nancy p,
The trees have such a thick soft bark that you could run into it accidentally & bounce off of it.
Now that I think of it, I like those also. Birch trees are very nice.. Some people use them as christmas trees.
I see if I can find a pic I have that show faces in some birches. Back Shortly, with it I hope.
Nancy p,
Click on the post image to see "Woodland Encounter" by Bev Doolittle.
Oh, that's nice!
Nancy p,
You did see the indians on horseback in the image, right.
:) No, but I saw the stretching cat.

I meant in the image I added. The birch trees. Check that one out again. For the two Indians on the Pinto Ponies.
Thank you for sending that, Tony. I thought you were kidding about the horses and Indians! What a wonderful piece.
