GLASS FISH

 BLOWN GLASSFISH
This is a little exercise in justifying the means.
I noticed this on a shelf in the light & decided to shoot it`s transparency.
I wanted a sky blue background, but couldn`t really suspend it so I took two shots holding it against the sky & joined then as one. I also took the opportunity to repair the damaged fin. You can see the two originals by clicking this one.
On Planet Earth, the end of this bloom is shown with it`s tears. I also included a few Hibiscus images.
In the header, a few views of the front of my house & one from the back, overlooking my canyon towards my neighbor.
Have a great week end, please

First
Hey Andif is gone so I can say it.
This is to celebrate with you the rebirth of Mother Earth.
Today is the National Aboriginal Day in Canada, but I extend it to all people but especially to the First Nation, the Inuit & the Metis.
You can read more about this great day on the
Now Public spot on the blog. (it`s on the right)
Today is the longest of the year, so you have more time to celebrate the earth.

Hey Head, good time to celebrate with a glass fish! Ferny has one that belonged to his great grandmother (who loved all things kitsch) and it too has a bit of fin damage from over the years. It's quite pretty though and we like having it around. Yours is obviously much more modern than hers, lol.

IVG,
Send me a picture of it, & I`ll repair it, then send it back. hah
Did you see the damage on the other shot?

Ooo, how'd ya get the Lava Lamp into the purdy fish?

OOPS, Andif,
I hope you had a nice relaxing hiking trip.
The image you mention has now exhausted it`s possibilities. I have two mysterious buds (the ones I mentioned last week) that have yet to open. They are on the same cactus, but keep me in suspense as to what they will present themselves as.
And Nancy P showed up.

Good Morning Ms. Nancy,
I noticed that also, after I had taken the shots.
I was more absorbed in how I was shooting it, for the eventual, hopeful outcome, than I was in the subject itself. The DOH in me, picked up on it, as soon as I had finished though.
I`m happy you saw the same thing. You can only see things, when you look at them.

Hiya Head.

Those are wonderful shots, but your header shot is outstanding. It creates such a somber mood.

Hope you are doing fine and take care.

Hi FM,
Thank you,
The header shot is "Gothic" or has an inner earth look to it.
I hope it`s not too somber, hombre.
Stay cool!
