SUNSHINE MANDALA

DSCN8790
This "spirographic" rendition is a wild Sunflower in the yard.
The duck in the header is a ceramic duck that sits in one of the many birdbaths here.
There is an image in the header set, I think, of two buds with water drops.
These should soon be open, & I do expect some other-worldly blossoms.
Stay tuned for those. I`m not really sure what they will be, but I had a dream of them.
A weird dream.
On Planet Earth, a bunch of other yard colors.
Enjoy your 'middle of the week' day for those who follow that sort of thing.

DSCN8779 almost looks like a couple of new born fuzzy ducklings mounted on a cactus, very weird the contrast, is that the way that cactus "flowers"?

(Ha ha, beat AndiF!!!)

NDD,
Actually, that`s a cactus I rescued a few weeks ago, that`s just coming back to health.
It`s one of those grafted cactus plants. Some have a red cactus ball grafted onto a different species of cactus. These fuzzy ones were grafted onto the base that`s barely showing.
Good catch.
About Andif, ya might tone it down on the bragging.
I`ve heard stories.
Just saying...

Umm, could somebody close the shades ... it's too bright in here. ;)

I guess I'm just a traditionalist -- I loved DSCN8803.

BTW, NND ... BFD. :P

Andif,
That`s the one (8803) that I`m talking about.
It should open into the flower in my dream, If I`m a dream weaver.
I just went out to take a peek at the buds, & I`d expect results in a matter of days.
Hey, I warned NDD...

Hiya Head.

It's bright, but beautiful. I like the way you use the white background with the picture. It gives it more of a crisp look and makes it much easier to focus in on the flower itself.

Hey FM,
Yes,the white background is a 2'x3' foam-board.
When I want it black, I just put one of my T shirts on it. I just carry it around the yard & prop it up with a stick or stick it in tree branches. I also use it as a light diffusion deflector.

(sobbing) I don't understand anything Andi said. Has it been THAT long since we've talked?
