CACTUS MIST
This cactus, a little more than a foot high, still has the capacity to thrill, with blooms as large as one twelve feet high.
This image, taken the morning after it opened, will last a little longer than usual due to the protective mist.
Once the mist burns off, the sun will wilt the blossom, & it`s glory will fade into just a memory.
On the attached set, you can see the bloom as it opened the previous night.
All locales show the same images, but you should see them all.
There are buds & a few with Jupiter & the moon in some also.
I have been very busy, so please bear with me, & pardon my sparse postings.
Have a great week ahead & keep smiling.

I can't think of an easier thing to do than to bear with you all the gorgeous images you provide.
Except that DSCN9558 is so spectacular, it is almost unbearable. ;)
Andif,
Thank you very much.
Concerning DSCN9558, my excuse is that the batteries in the flashlight were running out, changing the whole light dynamic.
Gosh, that's pretty.
But I didn't know that cactus flowers played tennis.

Yes, it`s Love O
Hi Head, Andi, Nancy.
Wow -- yeah, DSCN9558 ... it looks like little yellow fingers!
These flowers are so wonderful. Thanks for getting out there w/ your flashlight and camera (and ladder for the other ones) so we can enjoy them too. :)
Hope you're staying cool and don't forget the sunscreen for those holy shirts.
Hi, Olivia,
I`m just about ready to fall asleep.
I`m saving the "catholic" shirts for the winter from now on.
I really never use sunscreen, but I do wear my black hat all the time now.
No worries though, I`m still on a white horse.
It`s my pleasure to share nature`s bounty.
Sorry if that sounds like an ad for genetically modified food.
