EMERGING BLUES

DSCN9316
The first stage in progressive blues, is to set the mood.
These are the opening notes of tonight`s blues, in the key of "E", for Emergency.
These sets, on Planet Earth & in the header, besides the main posted music, are all taken from a planter at the base of the large Sycamore tree next to the deck.
There is one large green exception, a testament to Teri`s similarly colored thumb.
I noticed a few new cactus buds a few days ago, then noticed one had fallen off it`s parent plant. I hope to be able to show the surviving opened bud to you soon. And there are more cactus in bud stage also.
I hope you are enjoying your summer days, & hopefully these flowers will make them even better.
I just remembered a hummingbird shot I took just before dark a few days ago.
It`s the last sip of the day, maybe even a night cap.
I`m going to add it to the main post set.

Wow Head, you've sent me right into sensory overload. So many, many, many gorgeous flowers, so much lovely color, texture, shapes.

And yet the one that really spoke to me was the one with a simple but still eloquent message -- _DSC2323. Wonderful photo.

Thanks for such a grand bouquet of pleasure.

Andif,
Thank you.
Except for the green machine, they were all taken inside of two square feet.
Upon revisiting imageDSC2323, I notice more composition qualities, & that it has the illusion of depth.

My favorite is 9313, that'd be one I'd enlarge and have up on the wall somewhere.

Still hunting for the above referenced 2323...

NDD,
This might save you some time, while you take your dog to the lake.
The referenced image is the one you saw when I responded to the green field where the doe & fawn were, near your house.

Hi Head!

What unique flowers -- love the blue! Off to explore.

Olivia,
I think their uniqueness is due only to the time I was allowed to see into the window of their emergence.
It just goes to show that sometimes the changing is at least as beautiful as the result of it, if not more so.
It`s like seeing a mature woman whose is beautiful in her own right, but god, she was stunning as a teenager, or when just a little child.

They look like Japanese royalty to me. I'm not sure why that is, but I do know the Empress is shy and the Emperor is protective of her.

The Emperor was tasked with that duty at birth, & would give his life readily to protect the Empress who holds the key to both their futures.

Good evening Ms Nancy.

Good morning, knucklehead.

The Empress is newly pregnant, though no one knows but the Emperor. If she delivers a healthy boy, her marriage to the Emperor is secure. But they are nervous, and she is desperately afraid of announcing the news too soon.

In the trying times of this matriarchal dynasty, her future may also be better secured if she brings forth a healthy girl, assuring the emperor of his role, the protection of the realm. She is his strength, he is her power. The newborn will forever bind them, into a force unseen for many years past.
