OLIVIA`S SUNSET

DSCN6000
This post is dedicated to a great friend, compatriot, fellow photographer, & exceptional young lady.
Minutes before shooting this sunset image down on my beach, I talked to Olivia, via email, & mentioned how chilly & dreary it seemed.
Once down on the beach, my whole attitude changed & I shot these for her.
It turned out to be a very nice walk.
A strange dog ran up to me & made friends.
More surprisingly, a seal decided to come up in the surf, acknowledged my presence, then swam off into the sunset.
I take signs like this seriously.
To the dog, the seal & my friends, have a lovely journey.
Tony
I never signed off like this, but she`ll understand.
Olivia, I`ll see you at sunrise.

It's a beautiful set, Head. 2 DSCN6004 was especially gorgeous. I'm sure it will delight olivia as much as it did me.

And I loved the "glow" in DSCN5998. :)

I will miss Olivia's pictures and observations on her world. Good thing you, andi and CF have such great eyes to fill in the gaps.

All kinds of great signs, 'Head. Maybe I need to head for the beach tonight and catch a sunset - and some answers - of my own. Thanks for sharing!

Olivia, thank you for all the beauty and good cheer.

It's a great sunset shot, and especially nice with those waves arriving on shore.

I'll definitely miss O's parvum opus photos.

Besides enjoying the beauty and detail of her photos, it was O's macro shots which inspired me in that direction also.

Thanks for the parvum opus experience Olivia!

NDD,
Yes, she is an inspiration to myself also.
have you done any spring ground preparation yet, or is it still frozen in your neck of the woods?

Still frozen.

We had a lot more snow than usual this season, although the last several days with temps above freezing have knocked that down quite a bit. The soil is just beginning to appear.

The weather officials are saying the odds are high for serious flooding. So we'll be having our fingers crossed for the next few weeks.

So it's not likely any farmland will be tilled until mid April.
