The surprise of nature`s devices to shock, are evident in the colors this poor bird has to carry throughout it`s long life. Isn`t nature great. Have a nature day & enjoy the colors. Please
the way you've presented, and the way it renders on my small screen, makes it look very painterly. esp when the initial view doesn't include the eye and beak.
Andi, Chloe was a spectacular bird. Here`s a link to many images of these birds. Take note of the amazing difference ic colors the male has to live with. I have no clue how to link things. http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=eclectus+parrot&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=ONwASubrHZWgtgOIt4jrBQ&sa=X&oi=image_result_group&resnum=4&ct=title
Olivia, Chloe, was her name. She passed away a few years ago, but did meet with Coconut many times over the years. She was living with the family that had Niki, the dog we rescued from the a..hole , who burned her. I`ve played with & held Chloe many times, though she really loved Teri a lot. Teri used to take care of all their animals over the years when they would leave, sometimes for many weeks. So much for gratitude.
Falling water stopped in flight, then slowly flutters to alight. In doing so, it paints our place, our planet, seen in white, from space Slowly changes in seasons slow To browns then greens and flowered glow This strange liquid, a natural show, Is jeweled starlight we call snow

Wow, now that's dramatic. Put that bird in a room and you won't need lights, it will be so lit up.
Gorgeous ... red and purple ... so decadent. What's the bird's name? Is it a friend of Coconut?
