MEMORIAL POPPY
Poppy growing in my yard
Bright sunshine, ocean wind, blowing hard.
A twisted petal, lesson learned,
Good & bad times, memories earned.
I linked more of the flower in question from yesterday, with the forensic "tooth-cut".
I now think the deer have been in the yard.
It`s either deer or penguins.
I also added a very similar blossom as yesterday`s although It had closed up a little since I`d first reported it.
This closing is due to the sunshine, & not it`s demise.
The surprise I had promised for today will have to wait till tomorrow, but I did put a preview shot on Planet Earth.
Have a great day tomorrow, Please.

Every day that opens up with your photos will always at the very least start out fine.
I loved DSCN6987 -- I always like the photos you do with the flowers against stark background, whether a wall or fence or just black or white.
As for Untitled-1, you win -- I'm going to go have my bifocals checked. :)
Hi Knucklehead,
I always love your photos but this set has nudged me over to the comments page. I'm totally amazed. It seems to me that the whole universe appears in DSCN6989.
Thanks for that.
Évangeline
PS - Hi AndiF and Olivia! Salut, Landsailor!
ahhhhhhhhh!
thank you
hugs,
ria
Hi Head. I agree w/ Andi. I love your flower shots against white or black or the fence. Very much looking forward to seeing more of the pond!
Hi Evangeline!
Hey KH,
If I don't usually comment on the pix it's because I'm numbed by the beauty of the subjects and the poetic and aesthetic artistry of the shutterman. Always a joy to see.
Just spent 4 days in Manhattan. Good fun. Got back last night.
My heart goes out to Evangeline who I neglect constantly although she has a special place in our souls. Don't give up on me.
Landsailor
AndiF,
Thanks for the nice commentary on my effect my images have.
On backgrounds, I like to eliminate any distractions from the main subject.
Bifocals are not always your friend.
Evangeline,
Thanks my lovely friend (hehe).
Come by anytime.
Hey Ria,
So that`s how you spell "relief".
Cool.
Olivia,
You might have to wait until you get a special teaser on the pond shots.
The check is in the mail, today.
Hey Landsailor,
I`m glad you liked your stay in New York.
I did go cause some trouble there in the early 90`s.
I like the place.
And thank you for the very nice praise.
I`ll tone it down a bit, if it`ll encourage you to drop by more often.
And yes, one shouldn`t neglect Evangeline.
Salut
