Night Sky

 MERGED X3 NOV.9th
Tonight`s sky at sunset in three merged images.
I also included a few daytime sky shots from earlier today.

My garden is coming along fine.
I`m going on a cactus collecting mission tomorrow to keep filling it out.
It`s starting to look like I pictured it.
Soon you`ll get to see it.
Have a great day.

The sunset was splendid but I was particularly attracted to DSCN0053 with its wonderful layers of clouds.

Good luck with the cactus hunt but -- sorry, can't resist -- don't get stuck trying to find just the right one and then be a prick about it. ;)

AndiF,
The cactus hunt went perfectly.
I got some as big as a (spine) tree.
I`ll plant all the ones I got in the morning & go again for another truck load on thursday morning.
They`ll all be planted by Fri. morning.
Any other ones will be donations that will surely be forthcoming in the weeks & months ahead.

Olivia,
It`s too bad I didn`t go up the coast for the sunset with dozens of squid boats in the foreground.
I might go up tomorrow night to shoot them.
They are spectacular at night since they all have extremely powerful lights on to attract the squid.
Apart from that, I hate them.
The pull 30/50 tons of squid per boat per night, (according to the paper), & the season runs till March.
I`ve been watching them for years & each year there seems to be more of them.
When Teri drove by tonight she said it looked like a huge city right off the coast.

Great cloud shots on 0053,0056 too. It was sure fun to be able to load up the original sizes on these.

NDD,
That`s right you have the power now.
Hooray.
The two cloud shots you mentioned are from my project site.
Imagine the view from the huge place up on the hill, upper right.
A private home!
