Hey FM, In the beginning, Neolithic man, used his fingers to draw images recounting a hunt or other experience. Ever since then, there have been purists who have denounced new ways to tell stories. There are those purists now who denounce any photo manipulation. To those, I say, "denouncing my right to enjoy myself is a futile endeavor". Have fun, be nice, & down with suppression. In the motorcycling world, there`s a saying, "Run what ya brung"
I agree with you completely. When I got my first computer that I had a photo program with, every picture I took would be changed in some way. The bad thing with the purist sense is, sometimes a good picture is lost because it didn't turn out just right. With photo manipulation I've saved many a good picture.
There`ll be more every day. I`m hoping to make it different every day with a prize for who can guess the next post`s subject. 1st prize will be a bowling shirt.
FM So did I but, I had a split. It couldn`t be re paired, so that`s when I struck out, on my own lane & I`m still wandering if I should get back into it, although I did gain some wait.
Just to say what I said just now in a post below this one. . .I love this new blog, 'cause it gives me a chance to see more of your photos. Thanks for doing this for us, knucklehead. :) And thanks for adding me to your blogroll. I will be delighted to return the favor.
Coconut is gorgeous. (He was merely "lovely" a couple of posts ago, but he has gotten even better looking.)
Nancy, Most people who meet him, come away with a different outlook on birds in general, especially if they`d never been in close contact with a bird previously. He just loves to go through his acts, & just does it for the applause. It`s something we worked out together when we were getting acquainted. He is a best friend.
Hmm, where are my old bowling shirts from the 80's? Goddess knows if I'll ever find those again, but they were fun to wear, especially with someone else's name on them!
Wait, I've got to go find that bit of burnt wood so I can scribble something on the cave walls. I'll check back with you later!
Falling water stopped in flight, then slowly flutters to alight. In doing so, it paints our place, our planet, seen in white, from space Slowly changes in seasons slow To browns then greens and flowered glow This strange liquid, a natural show, Is jeweled starlight we call snow

Morning Head.
I like the way the foreground element adds to the oil paint background. With the background oil and the foreground not, it look other worldly.

As long as you enjoyed what you were doing & didn`t feel catholic about it, good on ya.
Great site! Gimme more!

A bowling shirt?
You do want us to guess right ... ;)
Hello Evangeline!
Hi Olivia!
I've been checking out your photos - that wasp nest blew me away!
Salut de Montréal.
Hey I haven't had a bowling shirt in years. I used to look fairly spiffy in one. :)

When I was in the military I was on a bowling league. Although my form wasn't good, I could pull in a fairly high score from time to time.
I would love to go bowling again, but I don't think my back could take it now.
I see you've got a blogroll now. Thanks for adding me.
Just the usual suspects, FM
