WRITER`S BLOCK

MENTAL IMPASSE 1
Sometimes things just don`t click into place. A few days ago I was cutting some fiberboard [MDF] & must have breathed some in. I`ve had a massive headache for two days.
It`s mellowing out a little, but I`m still scatterbrained. [What`s new].
I took some shots of the moon framed in some large cactus in the yard, & tonight this bloom opened up.
To have the moon in focus along with the cactus, I take two shots, one with the moon in focus, & the other with the cactus in focus, then superimpose them on each other.
I then erase the out of focus areas on one & the corresponding area on the other. A slide show of the moon & bloom is on "PLANET EARTH"
This image on the opening page shows the frustration he has trying to compose some poetry, but is at a loss trying to find a word that rhymes with "silver". I believe he won`t find one because there isn`t a word of that nature.
In the header at the top of the page, the thumbnail takes you to my young friend`s lizard.
He has quite a collection of reptiles & lets some of them wander around in the dense plantings around his house.
His name is Adam.
Show him some encouragemant by checking out the slide show of his buddy.
Please have a nice weekend.

esp like the moon with the cactus, head

it has a pre-historic, stonehenge-like sense about, it to my minds eye/interpretation...

perhaps apropos in light of your friend's lizard(s)...certainly a pre-historic quality about that guy.

dada,
I just went back to look at the moon shot you mention, & I like it more now.
BTW, The dog with the facial burns is on my porch.
He will be staying with us for the duration. The A... hole`s wife left him, after finally having had enough abuse.
Teri told her he was a big bully, & she should face up to him. The other day when he came home, she beat him with a stick, over & over.
He hasn`t been here while she`s home.
The dog loves his new digs & is a good watch dog.
Karma, the equalizer.
Haha
The rattle snake he killed is striking from beyond.

ha!...positively influenced ya, eh...beauty is in the eye of the beholder...and all that.

that's really good news about nicki and her mistress, hope it works out well for them both...as for the pup, l'm sure she'll be a fine addition to the menagerie at casa head.

karma is indeed the great equalizer, and it oft manifests itself in unsuspecting ways...ims, the rattler in question was black...an ominous omen...this dude is due.

watch your back

peace

This snake doesn`t have to be black, to evoke the dark side. The quality this snake has, to frighten people away, rather than risk confrontation is also it`s downfall sometimes, as fear makes people do irrational things. Like killing what you don`t understand, or are too ignorant or lazy to educate yourself about.
Seems to bring up a "Chimperator" we know.

Love the pic K-Head, as that little guy also graces the shelf by my computer, next to the clock! You must have painted in eyes though, because mine doesn't have those, but I can ask the artist in the house to do it for me.... Are the cereus pictures still there or is it something else now? Well I'm off to find out...
