CUPIDS TAIL

_DSC0064
This is a blossom pod of a Monkey Clock, about to open. There are hundreds of them opening here at my house.
The other blossoms are also from around the yard.
The lavender ones are from a succulent variety, and the petals are very reflective.
The header is a depiction of attracting & opposing forces in balance.
Please stay focused & in balance, the better to see where fate takes you.

Morning Head.

Our forces of nature are feeling quite oppositional this morning -- it's been storming for about an hour and the lights keep flickering.

The Monkey Clock looks fascinating.

Morning Andif, (tomorrow`s?)
I take some of the blossoms. They`re all over the place here. They send out runners that come up dozens of feet away, & start again. I had a step-ladder standing by the side of the yard to have it always handy. They took over it like an arbor, & I relinquished ownership to them. It was there for years, albeit, not recognizable as a former step-ladder.

Olivia,
These pods open & release the orange blossom.
They pop up from inside another bush, but seem to not show themselves until they know they "dominate", then manifest themselves like this.
By the time you realize it, they`ve taken over.

I like how you've added the box framing the fuzzy end.

Olivia,
So do I. What I did was use another shot of the same pod in the batch I took & enlarged it.
I then pasted the showing one on top of it then reduced the original one to my usual format size.
I thought it was interesting. I hadn`t tried that before.
I`m glad some one noticed. It allows me to hand off a tip.

MsNDD,
Thank you.
Sometimes an image can be more interesting, by showing it in an intriguing manner. By choosing the background image carefully, I was able to align the stems, which helps the visual impact, in my opinion.
