GYPSY`S WONDER

 ANDIE`S STUFF
This little tableau, is a composite of some shots from a very dear person. A long time ago traveler, & partner in crime, in more ways than one, she has now devoted her time to enjoying life on her terms. She had been immersed in her family, now they`re on their own, cause momma`s free now. Well, plus they`re all grown up.
These are images from her yard & her visit to a glass sculpture exhibit.
Oh! did I mention; she`s my sister.
Individual shots from the main post are linked. I like the way she has captured the fine details in the reflections.
In the header, a few images from a trip up the coast, & on Planet Earth, my favorite veggie, for both body & soul.
Have a nice day & remember Spring is about to sprang.

So now we know that great picture taking is genetic. I really like squash3 -- you could get lost following all the patterns in it.

Well if some of those are magic shrooms, I might see spring about to "sprang" but otherwise spring is at best starting to think about coiling.

Imagine having a brother who shows off your beginner efforts for you all to see! Thanks, brother.
Your newest fan, BTW, is a man here(Ontario, Canada) from Norway for 3 months with his wife and kids. He is the house daddy while his wife is doing some research at our hospital. He is a photographer as well and is now a follower of yours.
Later.

I love the details in the reflections – I see what you mean. And I wouldn't mind spotting a cardinal or two like that on my terrace. What a great picture that is! In the past month, I've tried various ways to attract birds with specially designed seed, dried nuts and fruit, but the squirrels always manage to get to it first. I wouldn't mind walking along that coast.

Andif,
I like the color depth of the squash, & the little 'cloves' on it.
The folded plate, I`ll see if I can permission to use it as a "lazy eye" in one of my composites.
When the ratchet lets go, & spring unwinds, you`ll suddenly be there. Until then, you might try munching the other kind.

Olivia,
I wonder if it`s the same bird, going cross-country.

Andie,
Send some of his stuff if he wants. Then he can brag to the luktefish crowd, that he`s on TV or something.

Evangeline,
Yes, I`d like to see that bird in that scarlet robe.
I With the specialty seed you have, It shouldn`t be too hard to trap the little biters.
Walking along the coast this week-end is not recommended. One person was swept away yesterday, & the waves are up to 28 feet. They brush the underside of some piers. I could hear the waves crash quite loudly all night from my house.

Are you getting used to hearing the sea at night? I lived on Vancouver Island for a few months years ago and every night I'd fall asleep with the sound of the sea just a few feet away. 'Loved every minute of it.

The blue fish is my favorite, looks like it could have inhabited one of KH's tanks.

A few decadences ago I'd a gotten "lost" in the one on the lower left... if'n ya get my drift...

Tell the Norwegian that here in North Dakota we're still eating lefse, drinkin' Line' Akavit, and now and then ya can still find lutefisk served at the local Sons of Norway lodge, or Lutheran church supper fundraiser.

Hey NDD,
You`ll scare him off with all that talk.
I was baiting him with the bad spelling of the Luktefish in hopes he`d come & correct me. Let`s see if he takes your bait.
Ya, I really like the way the one on the lower left is "looking" at me.

hey, I've heard a rumor the Norwegians still in Norway don't even eat Lutefisk anymore... guess they've whimped out over the last couple of generations.

But I could fire up my B&B next summer and see if I couldn't rehabilitate a few of them.

A viking in rehab; this I`ve got to see.
