SPRUNG SPRING
In keeping with trying to convince you that spring is not far off, here`s a few more pictures of the colors that are popping up on a daily basis.
I`m really only trying to help. Don`t hate me for it.
How deep is the snow in your areas.
Was that mean?
Tell me a color & I`ll see if I can find a bloom to please your palette.
Smiles are free. Have one, on me.

I wish I was convinced. It's in the low 20s and we've had snow, sleet, and now freezing rain. But assuming I get to the airport in Indy okay, I'll be leaving this behind and heading your way ... almost -- I'll be a little north of San Jose. That ought to make it easier to think spring.
Morning Head, Andi.
Thanks Head -- this is the only way I'll be getting colour and flowers. The snow is feet deep here still. :(
Safe travelling Andi.
The Iris is my very favorite flower, and purple and deep blue ones are my favorite kinds because they seem to have the most delicious fragrance. (I once had a neighbor who had large and beautiful flower beds, but she didn't know that (many) Iris have wonderful scents until she caught me with my nose in one of them.)When I go down to the local Tibetan temple for services sometimes, and the Lama leads us in a visualization exercise that involves offering up gifts of the five senses, I always "send" the scent of purple Iris.)
How nice of you to take color requests! Mmm, may I have some even deeper purple or blue, sir?
Sure, make us jealous. 5 more months before I can view that beauty live!
Andif,
Have a safe flight to So Cal. (for you it`s Nor Cal)
It`s 80 degrees plus right now so hurry on over.
Olivia,
Then I make it my mission to keep supplying you with virtual springtime.
Nancy P,
We`ll be trying for the deeper darker blue or purple, but Maybe a temple will suffice.
Let me meditate on that a bit. I might be able to swing both.
Andif,
I hope that doesn`t mean you`ve canceled your trip.
So love-ly, as always!
BTW, don't forget you have both andif and andie on the line...
Hey Andie,
Gotcha,
Sorry about the mix-up.
Thanks to Evangeline, who made a note of that. I`ll be more careful of that in the future. I remember when Candice & I were visiting many years ago, when Candice walked in with all your tulips in hand, as a bouquet for you. After waiting all year for them, she had picked all your prize tulips.
Oh well...
She just left with the two monsters after coming over with some b`day presents for me.
Evangeline,
Thanks for reminding me of the two tricky Andie/ Andif`s.
