PLUM JEWEL

 ROYAL GRAMMA
This Royal Gramma, a longtime specimen of mine, seems to be a little bolder in the new reef.
I usually had a hard time getting shots, but now there are two of them in the reef,
so I think this one is trying to hog the spotlight.
I did not add to the header or Planet Earth, but there are more images linked to this one.
Some of the relatives leave tomorrow, so the load is getting lighter , although it has only been a pleasant time with all the family members.
There still are many images linked at the above mentioned locales , only not new ones.
Enjoy exploring around my place.
Have a great tomorrow.

DSCN7185 is a spectacular view of the fish. I'm just amazed.

And DSCN7191 was a really interesting shot. I was half-asleep but it perked me right up.

Oh my goodness -- that fish is beautiful!

Morning Head and Andi.

Andif,
Oh yes,
She had the body of a mermaid, but still, something was fishy.
I did notice the fishnet look of the curved body & the subtle change in color at the curve.
These fish feed off the reef face, & usually swim laterally with their belly to the face, looking for little bits to eat.
It looks like something is wrong with their lateral line orientation, but that`s just them.

Olivia,
Thanks, everything seems to be working well.
A good indication of this, is if the fish look healthy.
And yes, these 'little' fish have 'big' beauty.

Thank you NDD,
I see that it is very very cold there. Here, on the other hand, we`re having a heat wave. It was just shy of 100 degrees yesterday & right now, it`s almost 85. Maybe evening it out would work better.

Olivia,
I`ll meet you anywhere.
The beginning, the end, or the middle.
