IRISH ROMANCE

DSCN2678
The young male crab arrived home with a beautiful emerald bouquet, presented it to his crabby girlfriend, & elicited a hug, for his thoughtfulness.
So on this day, hug a crabby person, they probably need it.
Another crab presents itself in a heart shape beyond this image. They really are quite romantic.
Happy St. Patrick`s Day.
There are some green squawkers in the header from a local flock, along with a few moonlight lucky charms.
On Planet Earth, you`ll see that it is not easy being green.
There are two Emeralds pictured & I posted one with both of them in the same frame.
Good Luck of the Irish to you all.

It didn't make me crabby at all to see a new post from you. What a brilliant way to start my Tuesday. :)

And it seems that it's pretty easy being green and not so bad to be blue either -- especially in DSCN2689 and DSCN2484.

It's very colorful this St. Patrick's Day with all of the purple, red, and blue to go along with a green Irish crab. Thanks for brightening the day!

DSCN2530 could almost be the abstract picture (or painting) I'd like to have on my wall some day. There's even a little, yellow chick hidden in this one.

I'd like to say Happy Birthday to Happi today, too!

Thanks Andi,
I only realized the date, late last night, as I`ve been lost in time, lately.
I had to come up with some Irish.
Luckily I`d been shooting the Emerald crabs to document their healthy growth & the great job they`ve been doing.
Another week or so & I`ll be introducing more corals at an accelerated pace. They are stabilizing the tank as they rid the rocks of unwanted algae.

Hi Ms. NDD,
All the colors you see are the result of living organisms displaying the results of their individual DNA.
Well, Happy Birthday to Happi, from here also.
She was always happi to see me, at any time of day.
I`m sorry she was restricted in her freedom to race after the shorebirds here, but most of the beaches here have leash laws.
I`ll keep you posted as the "Daisies" in the abstract grow into bunches of them.
NDD, saw the Emerald crabs in their hard to see element, & I`m sure he`ll be surprised at these shots.
They can really only be taken with a much smaller camera, such as I normally shoot with regarding the reef.
I hope he described the "Vivid" visit we had.

Yes, he did ~ & I'm sure we have much to look forward to!!

I must admit, I didn't think the Emerald Crab was really emerald (even though the color shading was so real)...:)

Love it ... :)

Did you change your mind or do you think they should not be called Emerald Crabs.
I don`t understand the comment in that regard.

Hi Olivia,
I figured you might.
If I ever catch Pippi in flagrant Delecti, I`ll be sure to forward you the "hermit love" images.

A trip to Vivid changed my mind. Before that I wasn't sure if the art of digital photography was involved.

Ms. NDD,
I got it now.
That`s why it`s called "Vivid".
It`s often hard to try anything on many of the shots because one can hardly improve on them.
The most work I do on many of my images, is cloning out all the little specks of floating food & detritus.
I think a trip to Vivid in person is more than one could ever see in a reef exhibit at a world class public aquarium. It`s really mind boggling, & I`m used to seeing these wonders for years.
