VIRGIN EYESHADOW

 VIRGIN EYESHADOW DSCN4457
This beautiful fish, Cromileptes altivelis (Valenciennes,1828), is also known as a Panther grouper, a Polkadot or Baramundi cod.
This one in particular I rescued & held in a quarantine tank for rehabilitation. As you can see it`s quite underweight, but with tender care & a good diet, I was able to bring it back to a healthy condition. Although it`s too large a fish at maturity, to be a permanent resident in one of my tanks, I would not hesitate to repeat the process for another one. It has been placed in a nice large fish only tank at a friend`s place here in Malibu.
On Planet Earth, beyond the Boogie Woogie Man, is a set of some very colorful plate corals. The Boogie man is a little something I made today.
In the header, some sunshine spirographs await.
Have a safe weekend, please, & say "Hi" to a stranger.

I really like the banner photo. But "Plate mouth print 13" from the triple plates set is my fav -- it is so wonderfully creepy.

Andif,
You should see it in motion.
If you want to see it in all it`s creepy motion, email me & I`ll send you a DVD of different tanks of mine. It really is quite creepy when it stings a Coral Banded Shrimp.
A few people who stop in on a regular basis, have seen it. They might chime in on the matter.

Hiya Head.

I agree with Andi on "Plate mouth print 13". The fluorescent purple make the picture. However, the "plate coral detail #352" looks the creepiest to me.

Wonderful photos as usual Head. Hope you're having a great w/e.

Hi FM,
Some of the plate corals are pretty strange. The same offer goes FM.
If you want me to send you a DVD of three tanks of mine, I think you`d be a little surprised at seeing how all my images interact as one machine. You can email me your address.
I`ll see if I have a better example of Plate # 13.
That one is out of focus.

Hey folks, the DVD that HEAD has put together of some of the action in the tanks is really spectacular.

And the actions and reactions of the Coral Banded Shrimp were definitely one of the many highlights.

After viewing the DVD, I do believe I have a whole new perspective on many of the characters that Head has introduced to us here at White Knuckles.

BTW Head, where in the 'ell is the link to "Plate mouth print 13"?

I seem to have missed the "memo" ah... link somewhere between leaving dialup in the boonies and my return to the city.
