INVASION OF PRIVACY

DSCN5269
Watchers are where you least expect them. This Hawkfish, under cover of a Green Torch coral, shows that nothing will be kept from him. He`s a "Watcher".
On Planet Earth, another Watcher hides in the sea grass, compiling notes on your activities.

Looks like a fun game of peek-a-boo.

I really like the " ANEMONE CLOSED" image with its fine and stark delineation.

I wish I could see where you take these pictures, Head - it must be gorgeous. And each image is of something I don't know anything about - who knew there was such beauty under the surface? Each picture is such a surprise.

Thanks for bringing beauty to my mornings.

Sigh, this is what it's like to be a mystery writer. . .all I could think of was the FBI. Fishy Bureau of Investigation?

Well, the age-old question has finally been answered with certitude: Do fish sleep?

Because they must if they're monitoring my boring life (he says mischievously).

Andif,
Yes, I can count on this fish to follow me around & peek out at what I`m doing.
I`ll post another one where it is bubbling, for you tomorrow.

Thanks Beth.
I take these shots in my reef tanks at my house.
I`m surprised everytime I look in them also.

Finned Board of Inquiry?
They`re watching you too, Nancy P.

Yes, fish do sleep. One of my fish forms a mucous cocoon around itself to protect itself from predators by masking it`s scent from them while sleeping. It`s something other wrasses do also. Every once in awhile, I see a mini sleeping bag floating around the tank, a little translucent sac.
Just because you think your life is boring don`t think they aren`t watching you. They sleep with their eyes open as most fish don`t have eyelids.

Question is, who's watching the watchers and the watchees?

Boy, isn't that telling. Leads to all kinds of thoughts about perception and viewpoint. What is boring to some is fascinating to others...

Beth,
Exactly, we see it all the time, when we say, "be carefull for what you wish, it may come true".
The windows of perception are sometimes only narrow slits in a thick wall. One must go out to see the big picture.
